ROCK CITY MORGUE: Full-Length Debut To Be Produced By Ex-WHITE ZOMBIE Guitarist
September 14, 2004ROCK CITY MORGUE, the New Orleans, Louisiana-based band featuring former WHITE ZOMBIE bassist Sean Yseult and ex-MAN SCOUTS OF AMERICA frontman Rik Slave, spent most of August in pre-production for their full-length debut, to be recorded in October. The record will feature 13 new tracks, including the four tracks that were on the ultra-rare "These Are Dark Days" EP. The record is under contract to Nocturnal Records, and will be recorded at New Orleans' famed Balance Studios with producers Daniel Rey and J. Yuenger (ex-WHITE ZOMBIE). An early 2005 release is expected.
In other news, ROCK CITY MORGUE were interviewed in August by Fuse for an upcoming television special on the New Orleans scene. The program will feature "a lot of the up-and-coming rock acts here, and [will] include a healthy dose of New Orleans' underground nightlife culture!" reads a posting on the group's web site.
